Let It Ride - Onewheel & EUC Racing in Las Vegas

Boulder City, Nevada | Mar 27-29th, 2026

There is one weekend every year that riders circle on their calendars months in advance. The day starts early, with riders dialing in their lines before the sun breaks. Boards line up beside trucks and vans from across the country, and people who met once years ago greet each other like family. That weekend is Let It Ride, held each year in Boulder City, Nevada just outside Las Vegas, where open desert terrain and rolling hills create one of the most distinctive euc racing and Onewheel racing off-road courses.

In 2026, Let It Ride V returns with expanded race segments, refined trail lines, and a growing international presence. Riders arrive to compete, but they stay for the culture, the progression, and the sense that they are part of something steadily moving toward the mainstream.

What separates Let It Ride from a typical race weekend is the atmosphere before the first start horn ever sounds. Helmets rest on tailgates. Tires are swapped in parking lots. Chargers change hands between strangers who quickly become teammates for the day. The environment feels less like a strict competition and more like a shared mission to ride better than yesterday.

Luke Austin, reflecting on last season’s finals, described the terrain in simple terms:
“These trails are fast and flowy. You can push your limits without feeling like you’re risking everything.”

That balance between speed and approachability is one of the reasons Let It Ride continues to draw both elite competitors and first-time racers.

Energy builds quickly once racing begins. Younger riders chase veterans through straightaways. Experienced racers analyze lines between heats. Falls happen, boards get brushed off, and crowds cheer louder when someone stands up smiling. Competition is real, but so is camaraderie.

The 2026 course will introduce additional technical features and extended spectator zones, allowing audiences to see more of the action from start to finish. From a distance, the desert surface can appear smooth, but once riders commit to speed, loose sand, embedded rock, and elevation shifts demand precision and confidence.

James Darnell summarized the challenge in a way every off-road rider understands:
“Keep your speed, keep your balance, and hope you make it through.”

Let It Ride V will also feature USA EUC sanctioned race divisions, giving competitors the opportunity to earn national standings while maintaining the open festival atmosphere that defines the weekend. Structured heats run alongside open riding sessions, demos, and informal trail groups that stretch beyond the official schedule.

The event also serves as a cornerstone stop in the three-event “Best of the West” series, standing alongside Seek n Shred, Shred Fest, and Northwest Electric Fest. For riders pursuing national and regional rankings, Let It Ride represents both a competitive opportunity and a cultural gathering point within the broader electric racing landscape.

Organizer Joey Cantalicio has watched the weekend evolve from a small meetup into a destination event attracting riders from multiple countries.
“It’s about passion. It’s about helping people progress and become better riders.”

For many participants, community is the reason they return. Jafari Silsley, one of the youngest riders to earn podium finishes in recent seasons, highlighted what continues to stand out:
“The people. Meeting riders from everywhere. Seeing the community grow.”

Let It Ride has become known not only for competition but for its visual identity. Dust trails catching the evening light, slow-motion drops, tire close-ups gripping loose sand, and sweeping aerial footage have helped introduce the sport to audiences who may have never seen an electric unicycle or single-wheel race before. Over the past several years, dedicated media coverage has played a role in bringing rider stories and race highlights to viewers far beyond the desert.

As 2026 approaches, preparation is already underway. Riders tune suspension, replace tires, and map travel routes weeks in advance. Spectators who discovered the event through online footage last year are now planning to attend in person. The momentum is visible not only in attendance numbers but in the confidence of riders who recognize that electric racing is no longer a niche curiosity.

For newcomers, Let It Ride offers a direct introduction to competitive electric riding without barriers. You do not need to qualify for a heat to experience the weekend. Showing up, watching, learning, and riding alongside others is enough to understand why the culture continues to expand.

How to Follow the Event

Schedules, registration information, and race updates will be shared through official USA EUC channels and event social pages as the weekend approaches. Highlights, standings, and behind-the-scenes footage will continue to reach new audiences and help electric unicycle and personal electric vehicle racing gain wider recognition.

Whether you attend in person or follow remotely, Let It Ride V represents a defining moment in the continuing growth of organized electric racing in the United States.
