Event Recap Moon Dust, the Monstah, and a Winner Nobody Saw ComingOver 200 riders and spectators made the trip to Boulder City MX for Let It Ride 5. Riders came from Washington, California, Nevada, and as far as the UK, Israel, and Hawaii. The pro field was stacked. Zac Darnell had the fastest qualifying time. He had won King of the Hammers. He was the favorite. Joshua Fagerness drove straight from Washington, arrived at 7 a.m. race morning, missed the qualifying window, and won the LCQ to earn his spot in the final. Then he won the race.
Fagerness won by over three seconds. That is EUC racing. |

Rider Spotlight Joshua Fagerness
He has been riding an EUC for less than two years. He drove straight from Washington through the night, missed qualifying, won the LCQ, and then won the final. Fagerness is two events into the 2026 circuit and has won both of them. "Outside of serving God, this is the most alive experience I ever get. Riding and pushing these wheels to the absolute max, over the terrain we're riding. It's just the most I feel alive." — Joshua Fagerness [ Read His Story ]
